Pay attention! The implementation date of BIS registration for Electrical Equipment Products in India has been extended to May 10, 2023

On October 28, 2022, the Ministry of Heavy Industry of the Indian Government issued the latest notice of extension of the "2020 Electrical Equipment (Quality Control) Directive", which stipulated that the implementation date of BIS India registration for the following electrical equipment products will be extended to May 10, 2023.

The list of electrical equipment products is as follows:

1、Low-voltage switchgear and control equipment: circuit breaker

2、low voltage switchgear and control equipment: switch, isolation switch, isolation switch and fuse combination device

3、Low-voltage switchgear and control equipment: electromechanical contactor and motor starter

4、Low-voltage switchgear and control equipment: AC semiconductor motor controller and starter

5、Low-voltage switchgear and control equipment: AC semiconductor controller and contactor for non-motor load

6、low voltage switchgear and control equipment: control circuit electrical appliances

7、low voltage switchgear and control equipment: proximity switch

8、Low-voltage switchgear and control equipment: electrical emergency braking device with mechanical latch function
